Personally feel as though metaphysical constructs are a legitimate part of science and of the chiropractic profession in particular. Daniel David Palmer, the founder of chiropractic, had an intense interest in metaphysics. Although our understanding of the neuromuscluoskeletal structure and function has significantly advanced today, the fundamental metaphysical principles first described in the chiropractic profession cannot be ignored until proven otherwise.
